On the Day of the African Child, Wetu Trust Foundation in collaboration with Wakili na Watoto Club organized a successful feeding program at Mukuru kwa Jenga. The initiative brought together children, parents, and community members to celebrate the day while addressing the pressing issue of food insecurity in informal settlements. The event was anchored on the theme of nurturing hope and empowering children through compassion and care. Hundreds of children benefited from nutritious meals prepared and served with the support of volunteers and well-wishers.
